Assistant Court Clerk
Accepts Bond and Fine Payments, input traffic citations and misdemeanor arrest records into court computer system. Prepares and maintains records for Court Dockets. Forward to State Court disposition citations and criminal history records. Takes formal dispositions in the courtroom, collects information for attorney’s case files and acts as liaison between the public and Municipal Court.
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with 2-3 years experience in general office work. Must be computer literate and have exceptional ability to deal with the public, good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to type 30 words per minute. Must be able to work after hours on court days and must possess a valid driver’s license.
