Update – Hurricane Michael

We have received a Hurricane Michael update. Michael has now been upgraded to a Category 4 hurricane and is expected to be a Category 1 or possibly a Category 2 hurricane when it impacts Moultrie/Colquitt County. This is a very dangerous storm. All citizens are urged to be in place for the storm by 12 noon today and should be prepared to stay there for at least 24 hours. This is an unprecedented storm with extended periods of high winds similar to tornadoes.
