DESCRIPTION:Introduction to paddling & Paddle Tour\n Saturday\, August 13th\, 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM\n $25 plus $5 parking\n Have you ever wanted to learn the basics of paddling? Participants will learn the main strokes and maneuvers\, kayak and paddles nomenclature\, how to get in and out of a kayak. We will also discuss safety and what to take with you while kayaking.\n After the class we will kayak up the river. A ranger will be your guide as you explore the river and lake. Take this opportunity to learn more about the park and the great outdoors.\n Any participants under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. To participate in this program is necessary to know how to swim. Water shoes are advised. Subject to cancellation in case of bad weather.\n Register at the Visitor Center.\n Visit or call the park for questions. 229-896-3551
