Beautification Equipment Operator I

Potential Starting Salary Range:

$14.00/hour or depending upon experience (DUE)

General Nature of Work:

Works alone and/or as a secondary crew leader in the maintenance of City properties, including mowing city rights-of-way and other city properties. Also works in the planting and maintenance of various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers on City properties. Performs other duties as required. Operates light to heavy equipment including small tractor, large tractor with mowing deck, riding mower, backhoe, small dump truck, weedeater, and blower.

Training and Experience:

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with some experience in landscaping maintenance.  Must have experience in the operation and scheduled maintenance of equipment required for the job.  Must possess a valid driver’s license.
