Engineering Technician II
General Nature of Work:
Operates as crew leader in the performance of construction and property surveys, including site surveys, stake-out surveys, easements, utility permits and the survey of City Property; serves as a skilled Computer Aided Drafting Technician including downloading electronic surveying data; initial design of various engineering projects, and drawing property plats, construction plans and utility permits; assist in the training and instruction of subordinate Engineering Tech I.
Training and Experience:
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with a degree from a Technical College with course work in Computer Aided Drafting and Surveying or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the position. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
