Cecil H. Barber has served as City Councilman since 1997. A Moultrie native, Cecil graduated from Colquitt County High School in 1983, and continued his education by attending Georgia Tech from which he received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. He returned to Moultrie in 1995 and is the third generation owner of the family business, Barber Contracting Company.
Cecil is a member of The Rotary Club of Moultrie and The Moultrie-Colquitt County Airport Authority. He serves on the Board of Directors of Southwest Georgia Bank.
When Cecil is not working in the family business or serving his community, he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Cecil and his wife, Celina, have two daughters, Victoria and Christine. The Barber family attends Trinity Baptist Church where he is a deacon and chairman of the Finance Committee.
