Lt. Freddie Williams

Lieutenant Freddie Williams, Jr. was born and raised in Moultrie. He began his career in law enforcement with the Moultrie Police Department in 2008.

“Throughout my childhood, my dream job was to be in law enforcement,” Freddie said. January 2018, Freddie will celebrate 10 years with MPD. He has worked in many positions throughout his career. He began as a patrol officer and has worked in the Crime Suppression Unit, Criminal Investigations Division as an investigator, shift supervisor on patrol, narcotics investigator and has served as a member of the SWAT team. Freddie was recently promoted to Lieutenant over the Criminal Investigations Division.

Freddie has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree. He is the father of four boys, and in his spare time, Freddie coaches baseball and football with the Moultrie/Colquitt County Recreation Authority. This year he will work with the Ga Dawgs Pop Warner kids football program. He is a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
