Hometown Heroes Veteran Tribute Program & Pave the Way

Downtown Moultrie Tomorrow Inc. is launching the Hometown Heroes Veteran Tribute Program to honor our brave veterans and active-duty service members. In July 2025, we will proudly line the streets with banners dedicated to those who have served or are currently serving our country. You can participate by purchasing a banner to honor or memorialize a veteran, whether it’s a family member, friend, or loved one. Banners are available for $150, and the order deadline is April 26, 2025, or once all spots are filled. Visit the Moultrie Welcome Center to purchase your banner. For more information, call 229-890-5455 or email mainstreet@moultriega.com. Let’s unite as a community to show our appreciation for their service and sacrifices!

“Pave the Way” is an initiative to let Colquitt County citizens and those with ties to Colquitt County personalize a paver that will be placed in the walkways of Downtown. This is a continuing program, which was started in 2001 by the Downtown Moultrie Tomorrow organization, where monies raised are used to further enhance the appearance of Downtown.

The bricks can be inscribed in memory or honor of a loved one, to celebrate retirement or simply to recognize someone for their contribution to the community. There are many reasons to purchase a paver and have it placed in a choice of areas around Downtown Moultrie for generations to come to appreciate.

Bricks are $75 each, which is a tax-deductible contribution.

If you would like to purchase a Pave the Way brick, fill out the form below and return it to the Downtown Moultrie Welcome Center.

Please note – Pave the Way bricks are temporarily on hold while we search for an engraver.
