Councilman: Tyler MobleyTyler Mobley began serving on the Moultrie City Council in January 2026. A native of Moultrie, he graduated from Colquitt County High School in 2007 before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. After gaining professional experience, Tyler returned home in 2019 to invest in his community and now owns and operates Southern Powder Coating.
An active member and ordained deacon of Trinity Baptist Church, Tyler serves as Missions Coordinator and Vice Chair of the TBC Preschool Committee. He is also a past president of the United Way and currently serves as a board member of Green Oaks Center.
Tyler and his wife, Lindsay, are raising their three children—Ruby, Mary Tyler, and Jude—in the same community that helped shape their lives. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, staying active, spending time outdoors, coaching youth sports and cheering on the Packers and Georgia Bulldogs.
